These general terms and conditions of sale are intended to regulate the terms and conditions of product sales by Cotton Dream, Lda., headquartered at Rua José António Serrano, nº5, 1150-199 LISBON, with a share capital of €10,000 and NIPC 516 168 592, hereinafter referred to as “Cotton Dream,” through the online store at www.CottonDream.pt, to the Client.
The Client is an individual acting for purposes that are outside their commercial, industrial, artisanal, or professional activity, considered as a “Consumer” for the purposes of Decree-Law No. 84/2021, of October 18.
Product orders can only be placed by Users who are 18 years of age or older. The information and details provided by the Client through the Online Store produce full legal effects, with the Client recognizing electronic purchases and being unable to claim incapacity to complete the purchase.
These general terms and conditions, as well as the contractual relationships between Cotton Dream and the Client, are governed by Portuguese law, specifically Decree-Law No. 84/2021, of October 18, Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, Decree-Law No. 7/2004, of January 7, Law No. 24/96, of July 31, and Law No. 144/2015, of September 8.
Price and Product
The prices and characteristics of the products are as indicated in the store on the date of the order. Prices include value-added tax (VAT).
Shipping costs are indicated to the Client at the time of the order.
Prices, collections, and available items in the store may be changed at any time.
Payment
All purchases can be paid using the payment methods indicated on the website.
The invoice/receipt is issued after payment and sent to the email address provided by the Client in the order confirmation. If the Client has registered in the Online Store, invoices/receipts will also be available for viewing and downloading in the Client area.
Delivery and Delivery Time
The delivery time is 5 business days from the date of payment.
The order will be delivered by mail to the address provided by the Client.
For orders exceeding €74.00, delivery to mainland Portugal is free.
For orders shipped to other destinations, the shipping cost is as indicated at the time of purchase, according to the current shipping rate table.
You can track your order through CTT using the tracking number associated with your order.
Order Cancellation
At the Client’s Request
The Client may cancel their order within 12 hours of payment by requesting it via email at info@cottondream.pt, providing the order number, associated tax identification number (if applicable), and delivery address, along with proof of payment.
Cotton Dream will confirm the cancellation, provided the order has not yet been shipped.
After shipment, the Client may refuse the order and request a refund, providing the information mentioned above.
By Cotton Dream’s Decision
Cotton Dream reserves the right to cancel any confirmed order in the following circumstances:
- Due to lack of product availability;
- If delivery to the address provided by the Client cannot be completed due to reasons attributable to the Client (e.g., insufficient address, failure to collect, etc.);
- If there is any inconsistency in the personal data provided or misconduct on the Client’s part.
Cancellation by Cotton Dream will result in a refund of the product price within 14 days.
Right of Withdrawal/Returns/Exchanges
If the Client is a consumer, they may exercise the right to return or exchange the product, without justification and at no cost, within 14 days from the day the Client or a third party indicated by them receives the order.
Return/exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the Client, except when the return is due to lack of quality or non-conformity.
In the case of exchanges, provided the products are not on sale, once the items are received at our warehouse, the costs for new delivery within mainland Portugal are covered by Cotton Dream.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Client should send an email to info@cottondream.pt, indicating their details, order number, and the item they wish to return or exchange. In the case of exchanges, they should clearly specify the product they wish to receive, including reference, color, and size.
Products must be returned without any defects or damage, with original packaging and labels intact, and accompanied by all documentation received.
In the case of a partial return/exchange, only the items to be returned/exchanged should be sent back.

Once Cotton Dream Lda. receives the goods and confirms they are in the required condition, a refund will be processed for the returned products.
The refund method depends on the payment method used. For debit/credit card payments, the amount will be credited back to the respective accounts. For other payment methods, when IBAN information is provided, the refund will be made to the bank account provided. In all cases, refunds will be processed within 14 days after receiving the returned goods.
If the product is not returned in the specified condition, the return will not be accepted, and the item will be sent back to the Client.
For exchanges involving a product of greater value, Cotton Dream will notify the Client via email of the remaining amount to be paid, and once payment is received, the credit note for the exchanged product(s) and a new invoice/receipt for the purchased product will be issued.
Product Non-Conformity/Warranty
If the product shows signs of non-conformity within 30 days of delivery, the Client can request immediate replacement or cancellation of the contract, requesting a refund.
If non-conformity arises within three years of receipt, the Client may exercise the rights outlined in Article 15 of Decree-Law No. 84/2021. Non-conformities that manifest within two years of delivery are presumed to have existed at delivery unless this is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the nature of the non-conformity.
Once confirmed, procedures for non-conforming products follow those outlined in the “Right of Withdrawal/Returns/Exchanges” section.
Gift Orders for Third Parties
You may place an order as a gift for someone by indicating their details on the order form.
The corresponding invoice/receipt will be sent to your email.
Cotton Dream includes an invoice without value in the package so the recipient can exchange the item for another size, color, or product. The gift recipient can exercise all rights provided in these terms and conditions.
